Controlled Blast at Glines Canyon Dam July 10

Description

Controlled blasting continues at Glines Canyon Dam. The third of five blasts scheduled for July occured Tuesday, July 10. With Tuesday’s blast, the reservoir was lowered to 504 feet and 244 cubic yards of concrete was removed from the dam. By the end of the project, all of the approximately 12,500 cubic yards of concrete that is Glines Canyon Dam will be gone.
