Aspet, Saint-Gaudens National Historic Site. The brook flows through a ravine to the north of the Aspet landscape, located near Cornish, New Hampshire. During Augustus Saint-Gaudens's lifetime, a small stone dam was constructed to create a swimming hole. In recent years, the dam has been repaired to retain the appearance of the historic water feature.
This is one of several designed water features in the cultural landscape, including another swimming pool that was on the north side of his Hay Barn Studio.
