Hearing of an injunction suit filed in the Shawnee county district court to prevent transfer of colored children from Randolph school to Buchanan school will be Saturday morning in the First division, it was announced yesterday. The suit against the Topeka board of education, A.J. Stout, superintendent of city schools, and L.L. Kaufman, principal of Randolph school, is brought in the name Wilhemina Wright and Preston Trice thru their next friend, George Wright, colored, 1920 Strong Avenue. The petition states that Wilhemina Wright is a member of the primer class of Randolph and Preston Trice, a step-son, is a member of the seventh grade. The litigation resulted because the board of education is about to transfer the Wright children to Buchanan school, the petition states."
