Did You Know?
DID YOU KNOW? In 1925, local New York City councils of the Independent Order of St. Luke honored Maggie Walker by presenting her with this carved marble bust at the annual convention. Walker later wrote in her diary, “To live to be so honored is a joy inexpressible.”
