Location
The house is located at 110 1/2 East Leigh Street. Visitor center entrance is at 600 North 2nd Street.

Closures
Closed New Year's Day, Thanksgiving and Christmas Day

Special Programs
Special weekend activities during February. July 15th Birthday Celebration. Open house during the Second Street Festival the first weekend in October. Historic house tours during the Christmas holidays with period decorations. Call the site for specific information on the topics, dates and times for all of the above: (804)771-2017

Exhibits
Visitor center contains exhibits on the life of Maggie Lena Walker and the Jackson Ward community. There is also an eight-minute audio-visual program on Mrs. Walker's life. Tours of Mrs. Walker's house leave from the visitor center on the hour and half-hour.

Available Facilities
Eastern National operates a small sales outlet.
