Operating Hours & Seasons

Please note that, effective March 11, 2013, Maggie L. Walker National Historic Site will be closed on Mondays, in addition to its regular Sunday closures.

Winter hours: Maggie L. Walker National Historic Site is open Tuesday through Saturday, 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., November 1 through February 28.

Summer hours: Maggie L. Walker National Historic Site is open Tuesday through Saturday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., March 1 through October 31.

The site is closed Sundays and Mondays, January 1, Thanksgiving and December 25.

Walker's house sat squarely in the center of “Quality Row,” a residential block of African American lawyers, doctors, ministers, and bankers in Jim Crow Richmond’s Jackson Ward.
