Driving in Manhattan can be very difficult and parking near impossible unless you utilize a private parking garage.  the best way to travel in Mahattan is either on bicycle, walking or utilizing the mass transit system.  All units of the Manhattan Sites are accessable via subway or bus lines.  Please see each sites individual web page for details.

Did You Know?
General R. E. Lee's father, "Light Horse Harry" Lee, was present at the surrender of General Cornwallis - at Yorktown. Henry Lee wrote that Cornwallis had shirked his responsibility by sending junior officers to meet with General Washington. Robert met personally with General Grant at Appomattox.
