The Federal Register is a weekly publication of the Federal Government. It contains announcement of public meetings, law and policy changes, and National Park Service rulemaking decisions. When Manzanar National Historic Site publishes announcements related to these topics in the Federal Register, we will post that information on this page. Manzanar NHS currently has no announcements published in the Federal Register. |

Did You Know?
The city of Los Angeles gets much of its water from the Owens Valley, and it owns the majority of the land on the valley floor. The federal government leased the land for the camp from Los Angeles because it was vacant and had water.
