During her lifetime Maggie L. Walker often had her "picture taken". Ranging from formal studio portraits and souvenir postcards made on vacation, to family snapshots, we see her grow from young woman to bank president. These photographs provide us with a glimpse of her surroundings and add to our understanding of how she was seen by her contemporaries.
