Audubon Vermont, Vermont Coverts and the National Park Service have teamed up to offer this guided walking tour of bird-friendly forestry work   at Marsh-Billings-Rockefeller National Historical Park, with a special emphasis on early successional habitat management. Visit forest stands with recent cutting  designed to improve growing conditions for residual trees and provide increased high-quality nesting habitat for a diversity of bird species.  As an added bonus, this walk will occur during spring songbird migration. So bring binoculars if you have them, and be prepared to listen to the changes good forestry management can make.
