See what life was like on the home front during the Civil War in Woodstock and the pivotal role the town played in the Union war effort in Vermont. This tour explores sites within the historic village while offering a deeper understanding of the far-reaching effects of the Civil War on the role of women, the meaning of citizenship, and the beginnings of land conservation of citizenship, and the beginnings of land conservation.
