Popular Demand Returns "LBJ 100 Bicycle Tour" to National Historical Park in March
Due to overwhelming response last spring, Lyndon B. Johnson National Historical Park announces the second annual LBJ 100 Bicycle Tour on Saturday, March 28 on the LBJ Ranch near Stonewall. Luci Baines Johnson, younger daughter of Lyndon and "Lady Bird" Johnson, will officially start the 32, 45, and 62-mile (100 kilometer) rides at 9:00 a.m. from the historic ranch airstrip adjacent to the famed Texas White House.

Vintage Military Aircraft and Their Pilots to Enliven Hangar and Airstrip on LBJ Ranch
Visitors to Lyndon B. Johnson National Historical Park's LBJ Ranch will have the opportunity to see a unique exhibit of Vietnam-era aircraft and meet with the pilots who flew them on Saturday, September 6 when the International Bird Dog Association (IBDA) teams up with the Johnson family and the National Park Service to coordinate an invitational fly in and viewing.

Withers & Spauldings Building Reborn as the General Store Experience that LBJ Knew
Lyndon B. Johnson National Historical Park announces the return of “Withers & Spauldings,” a newly-created general store exhibit area spanning several time periods from 1915-1973. Once inside, visitors can immerse themselves in the environment of a 1915-1920s-era general store that Lyndon Johnson knew as a child while also experiencing later years when LBJ came back to his home town to campaign and to visit with people he had known all his life.

Up until recently, park rangers patrolling here in Johnson City and on the LBJ Ranch could be found on foot and in vehicles only. But when Alison Bullington transferred to the park from Bandelier National Monument in New Mexico, she brought with her fifteen years of mounted horse patrol experience and her own horse, Zoe.
