Directions

The LBJ Memorial Grove is located near the Pentagon and Arlington Memorial Cemetery.

The George Washington Memorial Parkway provides direct access to the LBJ Grove parking areas. Click here for additional information on getting around on the Parkway.

The LBJ Grove is accessable from all major travel routes from the South and West of Washington, including I-495, I-395, and I-66.

 

Driving Directions

Lady Bird Johnson Park is situated between George Washington Memorial Parkway (Parkway) and the Potomac River south of Theodore Roosevelt Island and north of the 14th Street Bridge.

From I-495: Exit at George Washington Memorial Parkway. Drive south along the Parkway for approximately 12 miles to Columbia Island Marina. Take a right. Take another right and park near the end of the lot at the entrance to the Lyndon Baines Johnson Memorial Grove.

From the West and East: Once on the southbound George Washington Memorial Parkway, exit to the right at the Columbia Island Marina. Take another right and park at the end of the lot at the entrance to Lyndon Baines Johnson Memorial Grove.

From the South: Drive north along George Washington Memorial Parkway. Take a left into the Columbia Island Marina. Take another right and park near the end of the lot at the entrance to the Lyndon Baines Johnson Memorial Grove.
