The Grove is open during daylight hours.  The highest visitation is during the spring and fall months.

Can I bring my pet?
Yes.  All pets must be on a six foot leash at all times.  There are no off leash areas in the Memorial Grove.




Is parking available?
Yes.  All parking is first come, first serve.  Handicapped parking is available.

Robert Harper operated a ferry across the Potomac River in 1747. His heirs, the Wagers, maintained the operation until 1824 when a bridge was built across the Potomac.
