"National Park Week and Earth Day are a perfect opportunity to celebrate the commitment by volunteers to the stewardship of this City's unique historic landscape. The canalways, the riverwalk, and many public areas benefit from those who are willing to roll up their sleeves and participate this week and throughout the year," acknowledged Michael Creasey, Park Superintendent.
