Independent scholar and site volunteer, Esha Senchaudhuri, will give a lecture in celebration of the 200th anniversary of the publication of Longfellow's Wayside Inn. The lecture will focus on the character of the Musician, inspired by Norwegian violinist Ole Bull.  Nicole Parks (violin) will play selections from his music.

The talk aims to explore the friendship of Bull and Longfellow, and will delve into some of the influences of Scandinavian Romanticism on Longfellow's poetry.
