  1. Take I-24 West Exit toward Nashville/Birmingham - go 10.2 miles
  2. Take LEFT Exit #167 onto I-59 South toward Birmingham - go 39.0 miles
  3. Take Fort Payne Exit #222 - go 0.2 miles
  4. Turn LEFT on Greenhill Blvd. NW/ US -11 - go 1.1 miles
  5. Go STRAIGHT at Red light (Foodland Grocery) US-11/Gault Avenue North - go .02 miles
  6. Arrive at Park Headquarters, 2141 Gault Avenue North on your LEFT. If you come to a Red light at 20th Street NE (Save-A-Lot Grocery Store on your right), you missed us.

If you want to go directly to the park, continue to follow the directions below:

  1. From Park Headquarters follow Gault Avenue North / US-11 to 5th Street NE/AL 35 - go 16 blocks
  2. Turn LEFT onto 5th Street NE/AL-35 - go 0.4 miles
  3. Go STRAIGHT at Red Light on 5th Street NE
  4. Bear LEFT to follow AL-35 to top of the mountain to flashing yellow light -  go 2.3 miles
  5. Continue STRAIGHT on AL-35 - go 5 miles
  6. To view Little River Falls, continue past AL-176. Cross the bridge and turn RIGHT into parking lot.
  7. If you want to take the scenic drive to view the canyon from the overlooks (very little walking is required) go back to AL-176.

Did You Know?
Rockclimbing is one of the best kept secrets at Little River Canyon. Rockclimbers have been climbing here for years. However, most routes are expert level only with less than 1% under 5.11.
