Abraham Lincoln: A Journey to Greatness

Lincoln Home National Historic Site offers visitors three interpretive films playing daily inside the Lincoln Home Visitor Center.

Abraham Lincoln: A Journey to Greatness
A new theatrical documentary produced for Lincoln Home National Historic Site, this film brings history to life and captures the portrait of a humble man who was destined for greatness. Join Lincoln on his dramatic journey from Springfield, Illinois to the White House.

Stirring music and a high-tech sound system add to the drama as the film looks at Lincoln before he was an icon. Film runs 27 minutes and plays on the hour and half-hour.

Homage to Lincoln & At Home with Mr. Lincoln
Two 10-minute films, one about Lincoln’s national legacy, “Homage to Lincoln,” and the other, “At Home with Mr. Lincoln,” is designed as a virtual narrated tour of the Lincoln home itself. Films play back-to-back lasting 23 minutes. Starts on the quarter after and quarter before each hour.
