Traveling Trunks

The Lincoln Home Traveling Trunk, developed in cooperation with Abraham Lincoln Birthplace National Historical Park, can be loaned to educators by contacting Traveling Trunk Coordinator Jim Ranslow at (217) 391-3237.

Educators can use the trunk’s period clothing, curriculum guides, videos, and many other items to explore the life of Abraham Lincoln from his birth in a log cabin in Kentucky to his pioneer years as a boy in Indiana, to his adult years in Illinois, and, finally, to his years as President.
