Lincoln Home National Historic Site joins the city of Springfield, the state of Illinois, and the nation in celebrating Abraham Lincoln's legacy. At Lincoln Home, special exhibits, ranger-led programs, and living history demonstrations bring the Lincoln Home and its 4-block Neighborhood alive. During these programs park rangers and volunteers tell stories about Abraham Lincoln, his family, and the community of Springfield.

Robert Lincoln was the only son of Abraham and Mary Lincoln to have children and grandchildren.  He had two daughters and one son.  The son died as a teenager.  The great-grandchildren of Abraham Lincoln lived full lives, but had no descendants. Lincoln Home National Historic Site, Illinois
