Interpreters will present this program using techniques, activities, and materials specially designed to meet the needs of the fifth grade curriculum/standards and organized groups with primarily 10 and 11 year olds, while furthering the mission of the Lincoln Home National Historic Site. The mission of the Lincoln Home National Historic Site is to preserve Mr. Lincoln’s home and neighborhood for future generations to enjoy. |
Did You Know?
The Lincoln home was built in 1839 as a one-and-a-half story cottage. The house was later expanded by the Lincoln family to a full two-stories. Lincoln Home National Historic Site, Illinois
