Abraham Lincoln had many people who contributed, in one way or another, to his growth and development, and whose influence helped shape the man that he became. To fully understand Abraham Lincoln and who he was, we have to know who these people were and what contributions they made to his life.


			Did You Know? Much of the early development of the park was done in the 1930s by members of the Civilian Conservation Corps.One of its most notable accomplishments was the excavation of the Lincoln cabin hearthstones.Pictures of the stones and articles on the discovery appeared in numerous newspapers in 1934.
