Spring 2013 School Group Visits

Time blocks are set aside for conducted tours for schools and other organized groups. Your visit must be arranged in advance. Since the Living Historical Farm will be closed on Monday and Tuesday throughout April and May, 2013, school groups may arrange guided trips to the park for Wednesday, Thursday and Friday. Arrangements for a spring visit should be made as early as possible by calling 812-937-4541.

This guide can be used to prepare your class for a site visit or as a supplement to your classroom teaching. It contains information about visiting the park, historical information for use in preparing lessons, and a variety of activities that can be utilized to help reinforce the lessons.
