For additional information Contact Superintendent 406/638-2621 Kate Hammond Superintendent u.s. department of the interior national park service Little Bighorn Battlefield National Monument Closed Thanksgiving Day Little bighorn Battlefield will be closed on Thanksgiving, Thursday, November 25, 2010 to allow staff to spend this holiday with their families. Superintendent Kate Hammond noted "We wish everyone a Happy Thanksgiving. Winter hours are still in effect. The visitor center is open from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM daily, with the exception of Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Year's day. The self-guiding tour road to the Reno-Benteen Battlefield is open from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM. Custer National Cemetery hours commensurate with the visitor center. An Orientation video on the Battle of the Little Bighorn will be shown upon request. Entrance fees are $10.00 per private vehicle or $5.00 per person (pedestrian). Little Bighorn Battlefield National Monument, one of 391 units of the National Park Service, administers the site of one of the most famous battles in American history, the Battle of the Little Bighorn.
