Project: Wild Salmon

This kit is the Washington Department of Fish and Wildlife's Project WILD Salmon Education Trunk of educational activities. It is filled with resources and materials about salmon, including: books, videos, puppets, and preserved sample life cycle of salmon.

NOTE: This trunk is very heavy. It is only available for pick up and delivery within the Lake Roosevelt area.

A common rumor at Lake Roosevelt is that the National Park Service controls the lake level. This is not true. The lake level is controlled by Bureau of Reclamation computers that optimize lake levels for only five things: flood control, power production, irrigation, dam repairs, and salmon runs.
