Volunteers are vital to the success of the National Park Service (NPS). Each year more than 120,000 volunteers donate over 4 million hours of service in the national parks. They come from every state and many different countries to help preserve and protect America’s natural and cultural heritage for the enjoyment of this and future generations. Contact volunteer coordinator Rozanna Pfeiffer at (806)857-0318 or visit Lake Meredith National Recreation Area headquarters in Fritch for information about volunteer opportunities.
