Friends of Lake Meredith and Alibates, established in November of 2005. The mission of the Friends group is to support, promote and raise funds for Lake Meredith National Recreation Area and Alibates Flint Quarries National Monument in partnership with the National Park Service and other supporters who value the unique qualities of these national resources.
