Fees & Reservations
 

There are no entrance fees or camping fees for Lake Meredith.  However, there are boat launch fees and fees for some of the Use Permits below. 

Boat Launch Fees:

  • Annual - $40.00
  • 3-Day - $10.00
  • 1-Day - $4.00

All vessels that require state registration (TX numbers) are subject to the fee. This includes personal water craft such as jet skis, wet cycles, and similar craft.  The boat launch fees fund boating safety improvements at launch ramps and waterways.

The new America the Beautiful - National Parks and Federal Recreational Lands Pass Program was launched on January 1, 2007.  Link for State of Texas locations to obtain this pass    

(Link to pass info page) Holders of Golden Age/Senior Passes and Golden Access/Access Passes receive a 50% discount on boating fees. A valid state boat registration card MUST be presented when purchasing a boating permit. Permits can be obtained at Park Headquarters, the Marina at Lake Meredith and C.J.'s Bait Shop on Fritch Fortress Road.

 

Reservations are not required for single or single family use. 

Group Use Permits are required for groups with more than 15 people such as family reunions, company picnics, group campouts, etc. Group Use Permit Application Form
