The Friends of Alibates Flint Quarries and Lake Meredith is a local non-profit that helps spread the word and raises funds for these two special places.

The park store is operated by Western National Parks Association (WNPA), an official non-profit partner of the National Park Service dedicated to supporting the educational mission of Lake Meredith National Recreation Area. The park store has a wide range of books, maps, travel guides, educational games, posters, hats, pins, and other retail items available for sale. These products complement the interpretive themes you experience when visiting the park. The park store is located at park headquarters, 419 E. Broadway, Fritch, Texas.

Need a unique item or gift? Stop by the Lake Meredith Bookstore and shop. We have a variety of books, hats, children's items, trekking poles, posters, Junior Ranger items, and other park-related products available. If you are a history buff, we have several books about Texas History. Need to find out the name of a bird, dragonfly, wildflower, reptile, or mammal? We carry field and pocket guides you can take with you on the trails at Lake Meredith to identify animals and wildflowers. The Lake Meredith Bookstore is open Monday - Friday from 8:00 A.M. to 4:30 P.M.
