NOTICE TO MARINERS

Lake Mead National Recreation Area Superintendent Bill Dickinson announced changes in aids to navigation on Lake Mead.

Due to the lowering lake level the following green lighted buoy has been replaced with a lighted structure. In the Boulder Basin, the Battleship Rock green lighted buoy number 7 located at

36 degrees, 06 minutes, 48 seconds north
114 degrees, 44 minutes, 02 seconds west

has been replaced with a lighted structure at the same location. This aid shows a green light and displays a "FL" sequence. The light is on for .04 seconds, then off for 3.6 seconds after which the sequence is repeated.
