TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE: CHRISTMAS TREE PASS

LAUGHLIN, Nev. - Christmas Tree Pass Road (Approved Road 20) will be temporarily closed to all traffic from Monday, July 20 through Wednesday, July 23 for road repairs. The closure will extend from the Lake Mead National Recreation Area boundary at the north end to Grapevine Canyon at the south end.

The Native Americans utilized the many resources the Mojave Desert offered. The Mojave yucca provided materials for mats, sandals, nets, baskets, and rope. Its cucumber-like fruit was an important food source in the spring.
