Water Safety Education
Beginning in mid-April, as warmer weather approaches, we direct our educational efforts toward water safety. All water safety programs include hands on activities and role playing to demonstrate safety points. Rangers come to the school and give presentations to individual classes. Up to four presentations can be made in the course of the school day. Reservations are required, and they are made for all classes in the requested grade level. For more information for Clark County School District teachers, please call the Environmental Education Office at (702) 293-8716. For schools in the Lake Mohave area, please call Robin White at the Katherine Ranger Station at (928) 754-5601.
