BOULDER CITY, Nev. - More than 50 concrete trucks will be entering Lake Mead National Recreation Area from U.S. Highway 93 from 2 a.m. Sept. 27 to 2 a.m. Sept. 28.

The concrete delivery is for part of the Southern Nevada Water Authority's construction of the new intake tunnel. The trucks will be traveling through the Boulder Beach entrance north on Lakeshore Road to mile marker five.

Visitors to Lake Mead should not experience any delays, but drivers should use caution when passing heavy commercial vehicles. Only pass vehicles when safe to do so in a passing zone.
