National Park Service Engine Reports Small Fire at Lake Mead Marina Complex (Part of Las Vegas Boat Harbor Marina) 22-08 Update

2:00 p.m. update: This small isolated fire that occurred this morning will not in anyway affect public access to the rest of the marina operations. The marinas remain open for business. The services offered at Las Vegas Boat Harbor include: boat rentals, a store, fuel dock, restaurant, meeting area, and courtesy docks. The public boat launch ramp next to the marina, Hemenway Harbor Launch ramp is open to the public. Background: At this time, the exact cause of the fire is unknown. At this time, NPS Rangers do not believe anyone was injured. The fire is still under investigation and updates will be sent when more information becomes available. The Las Vegas Boat Harbor concession employees successfully contained the blaze with NPS Rangers and fire personnel. This is all we know at this time. Additional updates will be sent via email. |
