Lake Mead National Recreation Area Superintendent William K. Dickinson announced the following changes in Aids to Navigation in the Boulder Basin on Lake Mead. Due to fluctuating water levels, the Castle Reef Light #4 has been established at:

36 degrees, 3 minutes, 25 seconds north
114 degrees, 43 minutes, 53 seconds west

This aid will show a “Flash” sequence. This light is on for 0.4 seconds and off for 3.6 seconds. The sequence is then repeated.

Lake Mead National Recreation Area is a unit of the National Park Service.
