Operating Hours & Seasons

Knife River Indian Villages NHS is open year-round to visitors.

Visitor Center and Earthlodge Hours:

Summer (Memorial Day-Labor Day): 9 am - 5 pm Central
Winter (Labor Day-Memorial Day): 8 am - 4:30 pm Central

*Visitor Center and Earthlodge are closed on Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year's Days. Trails and grounds remain open unless indicated in press releases or park alerts.

Park trails and grounds are open daily from sunrise until sunset.
