December 12, 2009
Join local tour guide Joe Pritchard Saturday December 12st at 2:00 p.m. for a PowerPoint presentation of “Christmas in Seattle from 1851 to now.” Joe will talk about “what to do in Seattle” from Christmas to New Year’s Day. Around 3:00 p.m., he will give a walking and (free) city bus tour of the tallest indoor Christmas tree, home of the Teddy Bear Suite, Ginger Bread House displays, and Christmas train display at Macy’s. Admission is free and the public is invited.
Later that evening at 7:00 p.m. the Metro Employee Historic Vehicle Association will drive a historic bus for a three hour tour of Seattle's best Christmas lights. That tour costs $5.00 and will leave from the 2nd Ave and Main Street. For details go to www.mehva.org.
