No entrance fees are charged to visit Klondike Gold Rush National Historical Park.

 

Various America the Beautiful - National Parks and Federal Recreational Lands Passes can be purchase in the Seattle's National Park Store which adjoins our visitor center. This Interagency Pass program covers recreational entrance fees for National Park Service, USDA Forest Service, Fish and Wildlife Service, Bureau of Land Management and Bureau of Reclamation lands.

All types of payment will be accepted for purchasing passes.

2014 Annual America the Beautiful Pass

America the Beautiful - National Parks and Federal Recreational Lands Annual Pass - cost $80

This pass is available to the general public that provides access to, and use of, Federal recreation sites which charge an Entrance or Standard Amenity Fee. The one-year pass admits the pass holder/s and passengers in a non-commercial vehicle at per vehicle fee areas and pass holder + 3 adults, at per person fee areas. (children 15 and under are admitted free). This pass may also be purchased via the internet.

America the Beautiful Annual - National Parks and Federal Recreational Lands Annual Military Pass Pass - cost Free

Free admission at sites that charge entrance or standard amenity fees for one full year from the month obtained (through last day of that month). Allows pass owner and accompanying passengers in a single, private, non-commercial vehicle to enter federally operated recreation sites across the country. Covers the pass owner and three (3) accompanying adults age 16 and older at sites where per person entrance fees are charged. No entry fee charged for children 15 and under. The pass does not cover or provide a discount on expanded amenity fees such as camping, boat launch or interpretive fees.

Who qualifies for the Annual Pass - Military?
Active military personnel and their dependents qualify for this benefit. Military members must present their Common Access Card (CAC) and dependents must present a Dependent ID Card (Form 1173) when requesting their pass.

 

 
Current Lifetime Senior Pass

Senior America the Beautiful Pass for persons 62 or older.

America the Beautiful - National Parks and Federal Recreational Lands Pass-Senior Pass.- Cost $10.

A lifetime pass for U.S. citizens or permanent residents age 62 or over. The pass provides access to, and use of, Federal recreation sites that charge an Entrance or Standard Amenity Fee. The pass admits the pass holder and passengers in a non-commercial vehicle at per vehicle fee areas and pass holder + 3 adults, at per person fee areas (under 16 are admitted free).

The Senior Pass provides a 50 percent discount on some Expanded Amenity Fees charged for facilities and services such as camping, swimming, boat launch, and specialized interpretive services. In some cases where Expanded Amenity Fees are charged, only the pass holder will be given the 50 percent price reduction. The pass generally does NOT cover or reduce special recreation permit fees or fees charged by concessionaires. (This pass can also be purchased by mail for an additional $10)

America the Beautiful - National Parks and Federal Recreational Lands Pass - Access Pass - No Cost

A lifetime pass for U.S. citizens or permanent residents with permanent disabilities. Documentation is required to obtain the pass. Acceptable documentation includes: statement by a licensed physician; document issued by Federal agency such as the Veteran's Administration, Social Security Disability Income or Supplemental Security Income; or document issued by a State agency. The pass provides access to, and use of, Federal recreation sites that charge an Entrance or Standard Amenity Fee. The pass admits the pass holder and passengers in a non-commercial vehicle at per vehicle fee areas and pass holder + 3 adults at per person fee areas (under 16 are admitted free). The pass can only be obtained in person at the park.

The pass provides a 50 percent discount on some Expanded Amenity Fees charged for facilities and services such as camping, swimming, boat launching, and specialized interpretive services. In some cases where Expanded Amenity Fees are charged, only the pass holder will be given the 50 percent price reduction. The pass is non-transferable and generally does NOT cover special recreation permit fees or fees charged by concessionaires. (This pass may also be purchased by mail for an additional $10)
