WSDOT Milepost 31 Visitor Center at 211 1st Ave, in downtown Seattle
Kevin Bartoy is speaking on "First Thursday" June 7 at 6:30 and 7:30 PM at Klondike Gold Rush National Historical Park. His presentation will include an animation showing the evolution of Pioneer Square. Bartoy is the Cultural Resources Specialist for WSDOT ESO Mega Projects. On June's "First Thursday" learn about Milepost 31, a new establishment in Pioneer Square with artifacts and interactive and animated exhibits about Pioneer Square people and projects over the past 100 years. Now on display till May 28th, an exhibit about the maritime history of Seattle and the Klondike Gold Rush.
Just some of the different types of provisions each Stampeder would need to purchase in Seattle before leaving town for the Klondike. Sold on Gold Starting in June 9, 2012 This June we'll have a new exhibit in our temporary exhibit about the various sales opportunities generated by the Klondike Gold Rush and the people who took advantage of them. |
