Plan A Field Trip

Field trip opportunities are offered on a first come basis.  

All groups wanting a confirmed time for an Education program visit between Sept 6, 2011 and June 1, 2012 need to register in advance. Please call 206-220-4240 for more information.

Any grade level may request open dates for field trip programs. Accompanying program materials have only been developed for the 3rd through 5th grades. Other instructors have modified our downloadable scavenger hunts for other grade levels. 

Reservations are required for all education visits. Please view our Reservation Calendar for open dates before calling. Education programs are ONLY offered from September through the end of May.

Curriculum-based - Join the Journey

Both the classroom and fieldtrip portions for students will only be offered in March, April, and May. The fieldtrip portion of this program should be take place within 1-2 weeks after the ranger classroom visit.

Did You Know?
These "buttes" are the remnants of Seattle's steep hills. The owners of these "buttes" did not want their property lowered during the regrade projects. However these properties were ultimately leveled.
