Klondike Gold Rush - Seattle Unit National Historical Park
For Teachers

National park units are just like classrooms, places where people of all ages can learn about biology, ecology, history, geology, anthropology, and more. They don't exist just to protect things, but to allow people an opportunity to explore and enrich their educational experience.

From the Cascade and Olympic mountains to the Puget Sound and Pacific Ocean the parks of the Pacific Northwest are one big classroom. During the school year the Klondike Gold Rush National Historical Park in Seattle offers a variety of in-park and in-classroom programs. These programs specifically target the education curriculum designated for the state of Washington.
