Restroom facilities
Due of scheduling constraints we run our education programs without restroom breaks. Please plan to use our facilities before or after your scheduled program time. Allot 10 - 15 mins. for a 60 person visit.

Food and Eating facilities
No food or beverages are sold at the park or allowed to be eaten during our programs. There are many restaurants, snacks, and fast food business adjoining the park. We have no indoor facilities where groups can have lunch. Many groups bring pack lunches that are eaten in one of the near-by city parks areas. (Occidental Park, Waterfall Park are within 1 block). We do provide an area to store your students packs during the program sessions.

Bookstore
Our bookstore area is small.  We welcome your students' purchases, but please plan to supervise them and limit their visits to 15 students at a time in the store area.

Visit Logistics
If you are interested in a ranger-led education program, a reservation is required. Due to staff and facility limitations these groups will take priority over walk-ins. We will work with you to coordinate your scheduled visit time with other reservations you may have made for your Seattle visit.

Did You Know the Canadian border at the summit of the Chikoot Pass

Did You Know?
Many stampeders thought the Klondike Gold Fields were located in Alaska. Actually the gold placer deposits were in the Yukon Territory, in Canada.
