  • Traffic and Parking Concerns

    Due to the track construction, for the new First Hill Streetcar, both traffic flow and parking are being affected along South Jackson St. The park will be open, its normal business hours, during this period. More »

Materials to Loan

Currently, the park is reassessing our materials that are loaned to education groups. The traveling trunk program is being revamped and should be available by early 2014. The park is also securing the rights to various video movies about the Klondike Gold Rush and will published a list of materials available as soon as possible.

This 27 minute video narrated by Hal Holbrook explores all the facets of the gold rush from the ports of Skagway and Dyea, along the Chilkoot and Whitepass Trails, down the Yukon River, and finally in the gold fields surrounding Dawson City.
