Klondike Gold Rush National Historical Park will be closing early May 1, 2014. The visitor center will be closed from 12:30 pm - 5:00 pm and will not be opened for First Thursday evening activities.
Field Trip Elements
Field Trip can be tailored to group needs and time allotted. Each of the following elements can be chosen for your group. keep in mind the recommended time allotted for each activity when choosing.
There are currently 4 different videos that can be shown. All are in English with English subtitles. MORE....
Must groups allow 20 - 30 minutes to complete a scavenger hunt. Some groups have the students do them individually while others have them completed in groups. You are responsible for printing the scavenger hunts for your visit. For instructors wanting to modify the hunts a word doc file is included for each scavenger hunt. MORE....
Currently, the park offers two ranger demonstrations with the hope that in the near future we will be expanding the opportunities for students to participate in activities. MORE....
