  • Park Closed Monday October 13, 2014

    In observance of Columbus Day, Kings Mountain NMP will be closed on Monday October 13, 2014. The park will re-open on Tuesday, October 14, 2014.

Traveling Trunk

The park has Traveling Trunks available to schools that cannot bring their students to the park or for teachers who would like to do pre-visit lessons with their students. The trunks can be picked up from Kings Mountain NMP or shipped to the school, however the trunks are rather large.

To request a trunk call the park at 864-936-7921.

-maps of the Kings Mountain Battlefield and other battles fought in the Carolinas
-colonial Currency
-colonial Flags
-colonial Music CD with songbook
-photos of Kings Mountain Battlefield along with monuments and leaders of the battle
-colonial games
-soldier accoutrements
-colonial clothes - 1 set each for men, women, boys and girls
