The number of teams remaining begins to dwindle during round six of the 2006 Smackdown.
 
The High School Local History Smackdown is a fast-paced competition that provides area students with an opportunity to have fun with history. The competition is part of the Fourth Thursday in History program, coordinated by Keweenaw National Historical Park.

The 5th Annual High School Local History Smackdown took place on Thursday, April 26, 2007 at the historic Calumet Theatre.
