On Saturday, April 13, 2013, there will be an astronomy program presented by Chris
Miller, current volunteer at Kennesaw Mountain and former volunteer at Tellus Science Museum.
His discussion will cover the structure of the universe, galaxies, planets (with a particular focus on
Earth and the Sun, our brightest star), and the impact that industrial development has upon our
current ability to observe the night sky. Mr. Miller will cover star gazing equipment and better
locations to view the night sky where development has not destroyed the view shed.

The program takes place at the Battlefield's Visitor Center at 2 pm and is free and open to the public.
