The mountain road will be closed May 13th and 14th. Various patchwork will be occurring throughout the park during the month of May. Closures will not be necessary but some parking areas may be limited at times.

Lane Closures on Old Highway 41 (Barrett Parkway Project Construction)
Barrett Parkway Project will require lane closures on Old 41 Highway, east of Ernest Barrett Parkway (the Kennesaw Mountain side). Lane closures will occur February 9 - June 18, 2013, with peak traffic hours (6-9 am and 4-7 pm, weekdays) not affected.

Learn about the past through fun in the present. A variety of skills from times gone by will be presented all day at Kennesaw Mountain. Crafts such as blacksmithing, lacemaking, beekeeping, pottery, woodworking, farriery, dressmaking, and open fire cooking will be presented.
There will also be crafts for kids as well as music and clogging for your enjoyment!
