Description

The past smelled bad. Really, really bad.

"What's That Smell?" takes students on a trip back in time on an olfactory adventure where they learn the different factors that would challenge the senses of a 21st century visitor. Students learn about Victorian-era personal hygiene, clothes laundering practices, waste disposal, and understanding of bacteria. The program also includes a cool craft activity that kids get to take home.
