Student Temporary Employment Program Opportunities

Kenai Fjords National Park frequently hires students to fill temporary positions in various occupational fields. This includes high school and college (both undergraduate and graduate) students. For these types of appointments, we use the Student Temporary Employment Program step hiring authority, which is a noncompetitive hiring authority. Students may be considered for some of the current temporary job opportunities listed under Current Job Openings or Local Hire Job Openings through the STEP authority, in addition to those applying and being considered through the application procedures stated in the vacancy announcements. If you wish to be considered for temporary work with Kenai Fjords National Park through the Student Temporary Employment Program, you must submit the following items:
